My Talk: Robot Learning and Control for Contact-Rich Manipulation

In my talk, titled “Robot Learning and Control for Contact-Rich Manipulation,” I explored the challenges of contact-rich manipulation and introduced state-of-the-art, learning-based approaches to address them. I also shared our latest research on learning compliance control from a few demonstrations, showcasing how machine learning can improve robot adaptability in real-world interaction scenarios.

A Vibrant AI & Robotics Community in Tokyo

The event was incredibly engaging—I had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with many professionals working at the intersection of AI and robotics. One of the highlights was sharing the stage with Prof. Sethu Vijayakumar, a leading expert in robot learning and control. His talk was truly inspiring, and it was an honor to be invited alongside him.

Overall, the TokyoAI session was a fantastic platform for discussing cutting-edge research and applications. Thank you for having me!
